A Few Ghostly Rules:

Here are a few little rules for the ghosts and humans, most that I pulled from a website. I hope these are okay with everyone, but if need be I can always adjust them. If you have any questions or concerns, you can send me a message (preferably at Charlie’s account, because I’m online there more often). The most important rules are listed first, and in bold, hopefully to clear some things up. The rest are just interesting little tid-bits that you don’t have to read if you don’t want to. 1. The haunted persons can see, hear, and touch the ghosts that had some connection with their past, whether it be significant or not.

2. A ghost can materialize anywhere he or she wants by concentrating on where it wants to be.

3. Ghosts cannot pick up things. Under duress, in an emotionally charged situation, or in a group, they can move things.

4. In the ghost world, love never dies.

5. Ghosts can see, hear, and touch other ghosts.

6. Ghosts have the ability to pass through solid objects.

7. New spirits are on a learning curve with their ghost powers.

8. Spirits can group together for a common purpose and use the strength of their numbers to interact more powerfully with the world of the living.

9. The power of love is often strong enough to save even an angry, vengeful earthbound spirit.

10. Ghosts can visit and communicate with you in your dreams.

11. Ghosts can affect electrical currents, i.e. computers, lights, phones and other household electrical devices.

12. Most children when they are very young can see ghosts.

13. Most earthbound spirits appear wearing the clothes they were wearing when they died.

14. Most ghosts, like vampires, are not reflected in mirrors or windows. (Ghosts like Bloody Mary are an exception because their aura is tied to reflections.)

15. Ghosts can inflict physical harm on the living without realizing they are doing so.

16. Ghosts do not get tired or sleepy.

17. A person’s ghost arises at the location where they died.

18. Initially, a spirit’s appearance can be distorted, even scary. Once they start to interact with the living, they begin to look more like they did when alive.

19. Ghosts often stay earthbound in order to help a grieving loved one heal and move on with his or her life.

20. Because of the resentment an earthbound spirit feels about his/her tragic death, the spirit can wreak havoc on the living.

21. Ghosts have no sense of time.

22. A ghost who experienced a violent death may relive that experience while trapped as an earthbound spirit.

23. Animals (particularly dogs) can sense the presence of a ghost.

24. Ghosts can affect the temperature of small areas, creating hot spots or cold spots. A good indicator is when the thermostat in a room quickly drops for no reason.

25. Ghosts can follow their passion even in death.

26. Ghosts play practical jokes on the living.

To say that Rachel Berry was stressed was the understatement of the century. She had so many conflicting feelings about this year that she just didn’t have the emotional energy to try an understand. She just submitted her application to NYADA, and if you had asked her three weeks ago how she felt about it she would’ve told you, “I am quite confident in my talent and educational performance. I believe that they will be quite impressed with my application since I am such a worthy candidate,” but now she is more than a bit nervous. After the stunt that she pulled for Kurt, her record is no longer perfect and let’s face it, stuffing an election box for your friend to win an election isn’t exactly a small matter that can just be overlooked. All Rachel could do now was hope that her additional essay that she wrote explaining the reasoning behind her actions and how sorry she is for them would be enough.

Even though NYADA was her biggest concern, it wasn’t her only one. Rachel also had Finn on her mind almost constantly. Yes, she did love him dearly and he would always have a special place in her heart, but she couldn’t help but worry about how their futures were going to blend together. Rachel knew that she would go to New York City no matter what, but Finn didn’t seem to have any idea about what he wanted to do. Rachel has been very supportive, and she knows that there is more to Finn than meets the eye, but there is only so much she can do if he refuses to see these things himself. There were many adjectives that you could use to describe Rachel, but naive was no one of them. She knew that if he remained in Lima working at Burt’s that they would not survive together, and a part of Rachel did not believe in being in a relationship that she knew was not going to make it.

Rachel sighed as she brought her hands to her temples and began massaging them. She was currently in her room waiting for said boy to arrive at her house. He was taking them on a date tonight, and Rachel was positive that it was going to be at Breadstix. She loved Finn, but the boy was most definitely the definition of simple. As Rachel laid down on her bright pink bed, she also realized that things weren’t all bad at the moment. Their odd Glee family was coming together and becoming much closer, and even Quinn has become her friend which made Rachel much happier than it most likely should. Just as Rachel was smiling thinking about all the progress that she and Quinn have made over the years, she heard the doorbell. Rachel hopped up from the bed, grabbed her peacoat jacket, and headed down the stairs. When she opened the door she was greeted with the sight of her boyfriend wearing his usual goofy boy smile.

Rachel gave him her mega watt smile right back and then proceeded to put on her coat. “Hello Finn. I am ready for us to go. Just give me a moment to grab my house keys and purse from the table.” With that Rachel gave him a quick peck on the lips and then went off to grab her purse ignoring the fact that the thought that lifted her mood to it’s current state was about none other than the only Quinn Fabray.

Additional: Nope, that is about it! :)

Will the ghosts be able to come back or will they stay ghosts? I mean how will the loves of their lives be in relationships with ghosts and live fulfilling lives without eventually going insane? I am not criticizing or anything. I am merely curious. :)

Curiosity is allowed, nay, encouraged!

Really, I haven’t entirely decided on whether or not the ghosts will indeed stay ghosts, or if they will eventually be able to maybe “come back to life” or something, if you’ll pardon the bad cliche. I think for now we’ll just end up seeing where everyone goes, and make that decision later on. In the meantime, you can enjoy the glorious angst that is a ghost/human relationship!

HECK YES GHOST SMUT IS POSSIBLE! How does one go about roleplaying without smut, I ask you? Like life without chocolate.

The ghosts can interact with humans (i.e., smut), but only the four who can see them. They can see them, touch them, hug them, kiss them, and love them, of course!

Can Rachel kill herself at some point and come back as a ghost?

The young boy let out a sigh of relief when she told him she didn’t wait. A thought went by his mind when he was on his way, saying that maybe she wasn’t even there or he was late and she just took off and went back in her dorm. But that thought didn’t stayed for long. “I would have feel really bad if the opposite had happened.” he told her truthfully. His gaze stayed on her as she was walking down the bleachers, a little smirk couldn’t help but appear on his lips as they curled up. That red skirt was short. But he quickly shook his head. He can’t looked at her like that. She deserved respect and he didn’t come here to just look and thought about her in that way. He wasn’t like that.

He nodded when she talked and started walking slowly next to her. He would glanced at her sometimes, seeing if she was okay, if she was showing any kind a symptoms saying she was cold, due to the soft wind and her Cheerio’s uniform. He didn’t know why she was wearing that to go to a lake, where obviously there was going to be a bit more windy than here, at school. But he had a jacket, so he would automaticaly give it to her if she needed it. One time he caught her glancing at him, but that also meant she caught him too. He just quickly dropped his gaze to the ground, but couldn’t help and looked back at her, seeing her cheek getting bright pink. He smirked again to himself, she looked adorable. But when she bit her lip, he didn’t know why but he thought that brought her a little something, and he liked it. And the little chill he felt running down his spine confirmed he really liked seeing her doing it. She could make him feel like that, and yet she wasn’t even doing anything. He quickly licked his lips, thinking at how it was even possible.

He just laughed when she mentioned the ritual of the football team. He nodded slowly at her question. “How do you know that? It’s suppose to be a secret between us, football players.” he told Quinn with an amused smile. “But yes, sometimes one can be beat up, others can receive the ball right in the nuts, sometimes it’s being shoot with paintball gun. A lot of things to make sure you won’t act like you did again.” he added, looking at the beautiful cheerleader next to him. It didn’t happened to Sam, fortunately for him. But he saw some of the boys since the beginning of the year, and he made sure he wasn’t doing anything that could end up all the team shooting at him. He then nudged her slightly with his shoulder after he asked his question. “Is there some kind of ritual or initiation like this in cheerleading?” Sam was still walking with Quinn to the gate, playing with his fingers, hoping he was doing everything right

Rachel Berry honestly believed she was in love with Finn Hudson, believed that she could put aside her Broadway dreams and spend the rest of her life with him. Even when her best friend and confidante, Quinn Fabray had warned her against a future as Mrs. Hudson, she’d tried to fight the emergence of feelings she’d had for Quinn and settled for marrying him anyway. But when she heard that Quinn had been in a car accident only moments before her wedding, Rachel had rushed out of the chapel and to the hospital. But she had been too late. Quinn was gone. Sam’s return to McKinley High and the Glee club had thrilled him. It was a chance to re-unite with old friends, and most importantly, get back together with Mercedes. But when he founds out that she plans to stay with Shane, he can’t help but give up the fight. To keep his mind away from Mercedes, he throws himself into school work and the glee club. When the wedding of the year is postponed due to the horrible car accident, Sam is immediately distraught by the loss of his friends. The last person he expected to see was Charlie Fabray, the girl he’d never paid much attention to in his lifetime. Can he finally move on with Charlie’s help?

Imagine if Quinn hadn’t been the only one in an accident the fateful night of Rachel and Finn’s wedding. What if she had been only the starting point of the collision, a six car pile-up that took the lives of other glee club members.

But this unfair accident was not the end for these young people. Their ghosts remain on Earth to linger behind those that they love. Only some humans with deep connections to the dead can see the spirits of those that they cared for. When the few alive began to see their dead friends haunting them, can they learn to accept the hauntings? Or will it be too much for them to handle?

And most importantly: is it possible to fall in love with a ghost?

“Nothing really, actually” She said with a shrug. There really wasn’t much of anything going on in her life other than school, Cheerios, and Brittany, and that was it. “I mean, school and Cheerios have been all my life lately; and then of course I make time for Britt, so there’s not really any time for anybody else, you know?” She said, quickly thinking about how she’d been lacking in the Quinntana department; which was a major nono. Santana and Quinn had been friends for quite some time now, and just disregarding that like she was, was not okay in the slightest. That’s why Santana wanted to go out on this mall trip - she needed to get back in the swing of things with Quinn - regardless of whom had been up to her own shenanigans lately, but that was another question that had yet to leave Santana’s mouth.

“But what about you?” She asked quickly. “I mean, we both know there’s absolutely nothing going on with me besides the usual, so how about you Quinneth?” She asked, and eyebrow cocked a little in interest as she waited for the blonde driving the car to answer. Hoping she would keep her eyes on the road of course - the last thing they needed was a car accident; especially on a day like today. Which was normal actually, so just in general. They were teenage girls, though; they were both considered ‘bad drivers’ no matter how good they actually were, and apparently they were one of the worst due to the stupid people out in the world that believed so. The last thing they needed was to make that come true - so Santana hoped that if she did look at her, it would only be to sneak a glance, rather than a full-on glare.

Santana’s eyes wandered to the road herself, watching the lines painted on the black pavement disappear under the car as they got closer and closer to the mall. He eyes moved up to the sky; looking at the clouds and then the high trees, seeing the birds fly back and forth from their nest, getting food for the young and doing whatever it is they do. Seeing the birds made her think of the song ‘Songbird’, which ultimately caused her mind to wander off into Brittany, how amazingly beautiful she was, and how amazing she was to begin with, before she realized she was spacing off; causing her to jerk herself back into reality and focus on her conversation with Quinn.

In-Character Para Sample: Brittany wandered through the deserted corridors of McKinley, just as she had been for all these years, now over. Someone walked right by her on their way to the bathroom, and, for a moment, she forgot that they couldn’t see her. If they had, they’d probably be screaming. Barely realising where her dead legs were taking her, Brittany found herself leaning back against her old locker, waiting for Santana, just as she had been doing every day for years.

The familiar bell rang out through the school, and students poured out of the classrooms. Brittany disregarded all of them - almost. There she was. The blonde straightened up, and watched her approaching. Santana hadn’t noticed her yet, and Brittany stared at her, with her hair put up in a half-hearted ponytail, and she wasn’t even bothering about giving anyone a ‘look’. As the girl started to fiddle with her lock, Brittany tapped her on the back. “Hey, San,” she said, smiling. The Latina turned around, eyes growing wide in disbelief. “I…I’m back.”
